you have to set up file sharing in my computer and you have to be on the same workgroup. gl

I use GoToMyPC to do this. They have a free 30 day trial you can use too! I can be on any computer in the world and retrieve my stuff from my home computer (as long as I leave my computer on when I leave the house). :)

If it's just that one document, or just a few, you can attach them to emails and email them to yourself so whenever you get to the other computer you can open them by opening your email and clickin the attachments.
