Just vaguely, a reunion of my father's bomber crew from WW2. I remember it was on the shores of Lake Michigan but I don't remember which state. I do remember the flight engineer loved kids and had us all following him around like the pied piper. I was maybe 3 or 4 at the time.

I am sure my first vacation memories are of my mother's summer home in Maine....I was first taken there when I was about 14 months old....and I have spent time there almost every summer since. There have only been about 4 summers since then when I have not spent time there....I love it there. My mother's place is on an island off the coast....it is such a beautiful part of the world....I love taking the ferry across from the mainland to the island.
Other than that, I suppose the first *specific* memories I have are from a trip to Paris when I was 7....my mother took me.

A Cruise Ship to the Eastern Caribbean. I have a relative big family and my parents usually travel with a pair of the kids, the others stay in the house with my grandparents. I remember the voyage with my parents and my minor brother. We visit some Islands like Martinique and Saint Thomas but to be sincere I don't remember the majority of the things.
Maybe that helps to grow my love to the sea.

Disney Land and I was really young. I thought it was the most magical place I'd ever seen! I still remember bits & parts of the days we spent and how my step dad had to carry me at times. It's a sweet memory.

It was to see my maternal grandmother in Mississippi at Christmas time. I was tiny, maybe four years old. Only a few scraps on memory come back to me. I remember playing with a package of brightly colored small toy jets in the cramped warmth of her living room. Later I remember drifting off to sleep in a big bed, my heart warm and at peace.
