I have to do this assignment and I don't get a question
Cleo, Beryl and Eric are the controller, manager and treasurer of a corporation, but not necessarily in that order.
-The treasurer, who is single, earn the least.
-Eric is Beryl's brother in law.
-Eric earns more money than the manager.
______ is the controller, _____ is the manager and, _____ is the treasurer.

Beryl is not single and can't be treasurer.
Eric cannnot be the treasurer.
Thus, Cleo = treasurer.
Eric is not the manager and thus must be the controller.
Then Beryl must be the manager.

This is one of those logic problems:
you have to start with some pieces:
-The treasurer, who is single, earn the least.
-Eric is Beryl's brother in law.
-Eric earns more money than the manager.
Beryl can't be single- he has a brother in law, Eric.
therefore, Beryl can't be the Treasurer
Eric makes more money than the manager.
therefore Eric can't be the treasurer...
...which leaves Cleo to be the treasurer
Eric makes more money than the manager,
therefore he's NOT the manager...
Which leaves Beryl to be the Manager and...
therefore leaves Eric to be the controller.
Beryl = Manager
Eric = Controller
Cleo = Treasurer

Eric is not the treasurer because he is NOT single.
Eric cannot be the manager, because he makes more money than manager.
so Eric is the controller.
Beryl isn't single.
so Beryl is manager.
And we are left with Cleo who is the treasurer.
