So we are going to vegas this week( we live about 2 hours away) and we are bringing our 3 month old daughter with us. We will be staying a circus circus which is a more family friendly hotel. I would like to find out any smoke free places we can go to that we can enjoy as a family. We are not into the partying scene, or gambling ( daddy might gamble a little a night when baby and i are in the room). We have fun any where we go as a family so any advice would be great. Also how is the weather right now, is it to cold to walk down the strip and take in the views.

Thank for all your help.

The nights get cold so try and do most of your activites during the day. Here is a list of Vegas FREE attractions.

I was in Vegas at New Years last year and the weather was very warm. There is a lot to do as a family. You can just walk through the different casinos, they are all decorated with different themes and are really fun to see. Some have attractions like the white tigers, big aquariums, waterfalls, the venetian has canals and you can take a ride on the gondola (boat like in Venice in Italy), also some have amazing pools with slides, and the Mirage has an erupting volcano. You are free to walk all the hotels even if you are not a guest. You're daughter is young to enjoy these things but at least you can take her along. There are shows to see, great places to eat, great shopping...It's definitely not just about gambling and partying, although that can be fun :) Almost all the hotels have family friendly activities...Circus Circus is just the first one to do it...many years ago...you can also go bungee jumping at Circus Circus while you're husband holds the baby...I highly recommend it especially at night when the strip is lit up!! :) I hope you enjoy your trip!!

It's been pretty cold, Especially at night! But the days have been bearable if its not windy.

Anywhere in the Casino area there is smoking. Restaurants don't allow smoking anymore.

Not a whole lot to do with a 3 month old.

Maybe seen a movie at the United Artist next to the MGM.

Go to the Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay

The Secret Garden at the Mirage! Its my favorite place to take my kids. They have Dolphins, Lions, Tigers and other cool animals.

I am of the opinion that there are better places to go than Vegas with kids/babies.

the Orleans has babysitting/childcare. my daughter loved it.
i was very happy with the service . they took very good care of her. for babies you have to let them know in advance.take shot records.at the time it was 5 dollars an hour.
