DMB tends to have either legions of fans who adore them...or hordes of people who hate them, and few in between. On one hand, I've got a friend who's been to over 20 of their concerts...and several others who can't stand them. Personally, it comes down to the mood, but they've definitely crafted some of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard (especially #41).

If you're into boring 90's style jam bands where the lead singer looks like the second coming of Forrest Gump, then perhaps they might rock in your world. For the rest of us, the answer is no.

I've seen them live and all I heard was pretty much mush. I couldn't understand anything he was saying. It was a good venue and we had good seats. Just couldn't figure out what they were playing or singing.

mmmm... not really
I'm a big fan of theirs
but I would probably label them more of a Blues band instead of rock
they just don't have or give that feel
neither does their music
