I've spent a few Christmases where it's normally warm. And
it's hard to find the spirit when it's short sleeved weather. For
me anyway. I'm used to a nip in the air at least, so I don't need
snow. Right now tho, there's more 'nip' in the air, than I want or
need LOL.
But I'm hunkered inside coping with what I think is the new
flu for this flu season. I just came off of one bug, and now this
hit me. It hits with dizziness so it sets it apart from any other
I've gone thru. So I'm staying right here, and hope that I get
some relief before Christmas arrives. Otherwise, you'll find
me right here and missing out on a Christmas Day dinner
at my daughters home. Enjoy the short sleeved weather tho!

NOPE - not me! Don't even own a suitcase any more! Have traveled the world 4 times (was a flight attendant), and if I never see another travel bag - it will be too soon. Having said that - I do have a rod in the back of my car for hanging clothes - just in case of an emergency! Small bag available for shampoo etc. CJ

No don't have a suitcase packed.
But it doesn't take long to make up a travel roll.
Like Chip Monk said.
Hit the Turnpike and head it to the wind.
(I'm already in the south, just need to go west.)

that's so straightforward...positioned the bum component of trousers interior the suitcase with legs putting over the realm, or long attire positioned the right interior the suitcase with the long skirt of the gown over the realm, then roll all your outfits and positioned them interior, positioned aerosols or tubes of dermis cream interior your shoes etc. then once you have each thing on your suitcase, pull the legs of your trousers or the tops of the gown'es over the clothing and this pushes each thing down. Then close the suitcase and stand it up, any area you have will now be on the right and something which you forgot you could upload interior the right of the suitcase. having pronounced that, take an empty suitcase and purchase outfits over there, in all probability extra low value that way besides.

No but wouldn't that be great. I love to just decide to take off and go where ever the road and your adventure can take you. Keeping a suitcase with ready to go clothes etc. would be fun. I will do that someday soon I hope

We hope to get away for a few days. A friend has a house about 4 hours north of where we are. It's empty, so the power's off, but it's in central FL, so I think all we would need is a space heater to sleep. We have lots of camping stuff to cook. It would be nice to get away for a few days.

I'll go with you. I want to move to New Mexico so bad I can taste it. Albuquerque is a nice place to live in spots and in spots there is the usual L.A. stuff. Just like about anywhere and a friend from Seniors is a real estate lawyer who lives there and swears it is the best place he has ever lived. I believe him and would love to move there. Now all I need is about $2500 and I will be able to go.
