For $150-$200? Hmm, I'm not sure I can help you with a new dummy, but Puppets and Props offers new and used ventriloquist dummies and also provides tips, tricks and supplies for do-it-yourselfers. Perhaps if you created your own and bought some cast parts from this seller you could get away with paying so little as $150. Good luck!

Incidentally, ventriloquist dummies give me the heebie-jeebies!

Considering a professional figure starts at about $2000 for the inexpensive ones, you're going to be hard pressed to find one for that price, especially with moving eyes.

Your best bet is to check out the WorldVents group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WorldVents Ask on there if there's a smaller figure maker that can make them for about that price or if anyone is selling an old one.

You might be able to save up a little more and get one for the $300-350 dollar range that will be good enough for a lot of uses. I have one that has side to side eyes and raising eyebrows that only cost me about $350 and it has been a great figure.
