What is your favorite Byzantine Monument and why?

Simply the massive walls of what used to be Constantinople.
These incredibly thick fortifications allowed the Byzantines to survive until 1453 before huge Turkish cannons and overwhelming manpower led to the final conquest. Parts of these wall still exist today in modern Istanbul.
