~~~ Yes. I've been listening to Bob Marley & The Wailers music for months on end 24/7,and I feel joyful every day even though I'm sad. Please give this beautiful music a try. It has changed me and made me feel better. "Every little thing's gonna be all right."-Bob Marley ~~~
The secret to true happiness in life is .......
Unreasonable Happiness
First you have to decide to be happy for no reason at all. Smiles are contagious
The ability to be thankful for the positive things in your life ( everybody has at least a couple no matter how bad it seems at the moment ) and focus on being thankful for them and how to build on that , will take you in a positive direction.
Any negative energy or thoughts will only breed more negativity. It is a very bad habit many people fall into without even realizing it. Much time is wasted going in this direction.
Try to only allow positive thoughts to occupy your attention. It can seem difficult at first , then easier , then easy until it is a habit , a part of who you are. You will then be a naturally positive and happy person. That is Unreasonable Happiness. And it is the secret to True happiness.
I am not at all saying that you are not typically a happy and positive person who is just feeling down at the moment.
This simple practice has enhanced my life in so many ways , I now have an abundance of everything good in my life and just wanted to try and share it.
It is impossible not to be. One cannot truly embrace a concept or experience an emotion without simultaneously being tainted by it's polar opposite. The joy you feel will always be the high on the scale of life that is being weighted upon the other side by the sadness that is the alternative.
Sure; a longer-range perspective vs a shorter one, one happy, one sad; a wider perspective vs a more focused, narrow one; one happy, one sad; sweet and sour sauce for the emotions and mind.
"Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, "Men in White Apparel," Colton, "The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?", Free, and "Expecting Adam," Beck, are examples of joy and sadness co-existing based on simultaneous perspectives.
True joy is difficult but possible to accomplish when you are sad. I've seen it happen. You can be broken and miserable but still find joy in something.
But what is more common is a facade of joy. When you are completely broken on the inside but fake joy.
of course you can. We're human and able to journey through all of our emotions at once. Just because you're sad bout one particular event doesnt mean you can rejoice at another. Take a deep breath, prioritize and relax. What you're looking for will reveal itself.
