What exactly is the job of a buyer of a clothing company?

They go to fashion shows and product conventions and use catalogs... hopefully they have a good sense of fashion and they choose the clothes people will be buying for the upcoming year.

what the other answer says plus they go to new york city and other places and buy in bulk.
