CIGARETTES AND NO NOT TILL NEW YEARS

Yes and Yes. But I can tell you from experience that you will never beat your addiction until you have absolutely no desire for it, and have the will power to stay away. Religion and Reason help. I finally decided to overcome my addiction when both myself and my husband had both almost died. It was time for us to decide if we wanted to play, or to live more. And since then we have had a son, which really keeps us away from our addictions, because we love him, and have responsibilities we can not turn our backs on. I hope you deciding to overcome your addiction does not come to a choice between life and death.

From age 19-24 I was addicted to Newport cigarettes and sex. I used to smoke almost a pack a day for 5 years. I only stopped smoking when I got a bad cold which took 2 months to go away. I just quit cold turkey after that. Sex was also an addiction. I had to have sex at least every other day. If I didn't, I would become anxious. I guess that I was just using sex and cigarettes to ease a lot of tension. Now I'm 28. I haven't smoked one cigarette in 4 years and sex is not as important. Twice a week with my fiance' is fine with me.

World of Warcraft had me for about four months last year... it was as bad as heroin, I finally gave it up completely... oh yeah and I quit smoking (cigarettes) in October after 26 years. Chantix made that pretty easy, I would say WoW was harder to kick.

SMOKING!! i can't remember how long i've quit for.....nearly two months. It's the longest i've gone and for some reason this time (about the twentieth) quitting was so much easier :)

i'm so stoked that i haven't gone back to them (yet) and hopefully never will.

Yes, and yes. More than one thing. And I'm a control freak I guess because as soon as I realized this "thing" was somehow controlling my life, I got the f*ck away from it.
