If you truly want to be on your own then get a second job if that is what it takes to do so.

The first things you take care of in life are food and shelter then the video games, internet connections, etc all come later or not at all when one is out on their own.

Good luck kid!

there are apartments for low-income people, it's own by the government. if you make too much you won't quailfy. deposit is like under $400, rent is from $200 - under $600 depending on income. and these apartments are usually unlisted. yes, i am living in one of those cheap apartments. dunno if all the low-income apartments are like that, but the one where i'm living, when i was applying i had a part time job only, thank goodness or else i would have made too much. but after i quailify, i got a better high paying job. just can't tell the apartment manager or else i have resign papers and probably end up kicking me out cause i make too much for low-income place. will good luck. those apartments are everywhere you just have too look.

Look for a responsible roommate!

Or, look for the smallest, rinky-dinkiest studio apartment you can find that includes most of the utilities.

You can probably live for about $750 not including food if you look around!

Although you are an adult, because of your extreme youth, you may have difficulty finding a place to rent. Your income should be 3x your income to rent a place Good luck.

Consider a room mate until you are earning more. Do not get stuck in a lease you cannot afford.
