I'm trying to show from the words of Christ, Paul, Peter, and John that the Christian faith rests on solid evidence, not wishful thinking. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

I think to answer this question you have to realise that the whole Bible is based on Gods promises that have and will come true Jesus himself proved this by fulfilling so many of Gods promises There are also other things that you could look at that make the bible true, the way it talks about the universe, the way it talks about how our body works. Also remember that the apostles were with Jesus, they saw his miracles and his resurrection John21;1 so they had faith that the things he told them would come true

Yeah perhaps it should be in religion and spirituality.

But to buttress you point. Show that men are creatures of faith. That is indisputable. And that has been around for generations. Evidence of man's faith has been around for centuries. There are places of worship. There are rituals for worshiping the God. There are many different followers of faith.

In fact a new religion, humanism, while denying there is a deity. They also say they are religious. Go figure that one out.

The Christian faith has a history that has been known for 2,000 years. And has it's roots in Judaism that has been here for 4,000 years. And they began through Abraham, who is the father of the three largest religions, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

There is plenty of evidence. Don't believe there is no historical evidence of faith in Christianity. And most importantly if you are a believer, you have your own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. But I don't know if you can include that also.

In Paul's letter to the church in Rome, he promises a logical and legal case that demonstrates that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), whether it starts with the thought that God is. He would not first show God's existence. The information of God's existence is latest in such issues because of the fact the form and overall performance of the DNA and something of the internal workings of a residing cellular; archeological shows; the prophecies interior the Bible, surprisingly the 300+ prophecies fulfilled in Jesus Christ; and chiefly else, the replace that occurs in someone's existence while they repent of their sins and placed their believe in Jesus on my own.

Material science must have an observer(consciousness) for quantum states to collapse into what we call reality, until collapse everything exist as only possibilities if consciousness is necessary for reality and you wish to believe that the universe is older than the existence of humans you must define what consciousness existed before life on earth.
Materialistic scientists often ignore the implications of quantum physics.

If there was solid evidence.. it would lose its point and message. Like previously said, its about faith.
If you want some philosophical arguments for Gods existence find out about the ontological, cosmological and teleological arguments. They're pretty easy to understand even if you're a beginner to philosophy. Or maybe the anthropic principle. Obviously they all have criticisms..

History Of The Roman Empire. There was an empire. There was a man who was crucified. Beyond that a legend was built up around him.

Don't think anyone can help you, that is why it is called FAITH and a BELIEF (something that can't be seen or proved but not what you call wishful thinking).
