Good for you! We need more people with empathy in society. Companionship and human contact are two things that are lacking for many---but not all---senior citizens. Transportation needs will also be a big issue. Good luck in your mission.

Thant would be wonderful. The RSVP, or Retired Seniors Volunteer Program is a great way of doing something that you can enjoy and also make friends with others within the same age group. Volunteering is also a great way of meeting people, feeling useful and valued. There are some grassroots organizations that pay seniors minimum wage for 20 hours a week to help make ends meet. Isolation is bad for anyone, but especially for seniors. Get out and mingle, it helps your mental attitude.

in all probability to three quantity. it extremely is in all probability exacerbated via the actuality that many infant boomers are the attending physicians as nicely. they are reaching retirement age and there is not a extensive sufficient pool of further qualified human beings to interchange them. i think of this is the biggest element to the wellness practitioner scarcity/medical value gouging occurring. they only ought to coach extra medical doctors. We would have many of the international's superb knowledgeable medical doctors yet, good success attending to ascertain one. you will see the infant 2 years out of med college extremely maximum probable. Attending physicians are basically around for the mandatory 30 2nd communication to ascertain if the intern did not shrink to rubble. i'm in gen x and that i'm able to assert with a super degree of certainty that the main knowlegable medical doctors are actually not from my technology. not yet a minimum of.

I say we should open Senior communes or Kibbutz's. Share the company, share the expenses, share the work. Wait-does that make me an aging hippie??
If I had a million dollars that's what i would do.
