I've read or heard that a number of people feel Canseco will "out" A-Rod and maybe some others in his second book, relative to steroids. Why does anyone assign more credibility to Canseco than any of the folks who talked to Mitchell during the preparation of the report?

Michael m - even if Canseco did observe players using, he and A-Rod were never teammates. Under what circumstances did Canseco see A-Rod using?

I think alot less people care about this then you think. A professional athlete used sterioids to enhance performance?? How shocking. No one I know is a bit surprised by any name on that list. And people out there are using this media blitz to get their own names in the paper.

Because no one has said Canseco is wrong. And Canseco can't "out" A-Rod, he has no proof of anything he's done. I mean, no one has even sued Canseco on Defamation of Character or anything of the such.

Unfortunately, Canseco's first book was the catalyst for the baseball witch hunt. The accusations he made panned out for the most part and it gave creedance to what he was saying. I believe Mitchell's report is gaining credibility due to Petite's statements as well as the suspension of Guillen. However, Mitchell was not part of baseball like Canseco and he did not watch these players participate in drug use like Canseco.

Conseco has been right in all his accusation thus far. Without him this whole uproar about PEDs in baseball would have never happened.

I don't really give him much credit, period.. he was juiced up too.. the only reason I would give him any credibility at all is that.. " Hell, what does he have to lose" He's over and no one gives a damn about him,.
