Is Jesus too Spanish? I realize "anglos" prefer the name Joshua, which is the Hebrew version of the Greek name Jesus, but "Jesus" is a common name in Latin America.

Since He was a Hebrew son, Jesus was actually called Joshua when He walked the earth. Jesus in just Joshua in the language of the new testiment...Greek.

I thought Angel was a girl. So I wanted to ask:
Is "Madonna" too Italian for your taste? I love that name! A lot!!!

If Angel is too much, she could've had the nick name "Donna" informally within the family, if a saughter's middle name is Madonna...but I think Madonna is perfect, considering that a famous celebrity has already made the name acceptable!

Of course I have in mind the Madona in a manger with the baby Jesus during this Holy Season (not so much the celebrity of that name).

As I type this I am imagining Madaona singing "Santa Baby", but that is JUST ME!!!

But since it is a boy Angel, I suggest Angel Jesus ... or if that seems like too much, Angel Joshua.
