Oh come on. This is easy.

The best answer is C, because not all living things destroy their environment. Take the bacteria that live in the roots of some plants, for example. They fix nitrogen from the atmosphere into nitrogen-containing compounds, which is a VERY useful task for the plants in which they live and for the animals that eat those plants. Surely nobody would acuse nitrogen-fixing bacteria of destroying the environment.

You've got to think for yourself a little bit or you're never going to pass this class. That's a fact.

The answer is C. I know this because the other 4 are in the scientific model to describe any living organism....why im not sure but the step involving enviornment is this
