How does Rich Rodriguez going to Michigan affect the results of the Capital One Bowl and the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl?
Does him leaving, make Michigan play better in their bowl game? Will it make West Virginia play worse? any thoughts...

I think both schools will most likely lose!! Oklahoma should take care of WV, who came off that bad loss to Pitt and is just playing horrible right now.
Florida with Tebow winning the Heisman, will destroy Michigan especially since Big 10 schools suck in bowl games because of the long layoff (Ohio State last year, Michigan too).
Every1 agree? Which school (Michigan/WV) will get detroyed worse in their bowl and why?

Personally I see no difference in him leaving W. Virginia for Michigan than Petrino leaving loser Atlanta for Arkansas. Both saw opportunity to better themselves and took it. Good for them. I also agree that both W.V. and Michigan will lose in their respective bowl games. Oklahoma is way better than W.V. and Florida should take care of the over rated Michigan team.

A little off-topic I think Wv should have their next coach be someone on their staff that Rodriquez doesn't take with him.. That way they have someone that knows that offense. If they do that and appoint their next coach before the bowl ame I think WV can still win, maybe. I am a true blue fan, but Florida will win that game

I really don't think there is doubt in anyones mind that Michigan is a bigger name in College football than West Virginia. I think regardless WVU would have lost to Oklahoma.
I don't think you can say the Big Ten is horrible in Bowl games based off of one season. Hell prior to last season the Buckeyes had won 2 of their last 3 bowl games including 2 Fiesta Bowls.

I don't see it having any effect on Michigan for the upcoming Capital One Bowl. If it affects West Virginia it can only be negatively. His leaving is a tremendous blow to that program.

That is a good question! It think he went to Michigan for the money and Michigan is a big name in college football possibly bigger than West Virginia.

I think it may make WVU play worse, only because he won't be there with his (former) players, and they have been quoted saying how hard it will be and how disappointed they are.
I don't think it will have much (if any) affect on Michigan, as Lloyd Carr will be coaching them in the Capitol One Bowl.
GO BLUE !!
