Yes, it does. Even though it's clearly possible for a short person to be heavier than a taller person, a tall person should be heavier than a short person with a similar build.

yes it does because smaller people take up less room in height compared to a larger person, therefore gravity is pulling more on a taller person then a shorter person, making there mass larger. however a really short person may be really really wide making them take up more space (mass) then a tall, skinny person.
generally it is correct

Something else to add into your equation: -Bones are heavy. Taller people have larger bones, so at size 14 and 5' 8" tall, I'm going to weigh more than a woman who is size 14 and 5' 2" tall.

Anything with a larger mass is heavier. Weight is a result of the force of gravity upon a given mass.

As with all generalisations, it is crap.
A short "endomorph" (look it up) would probably weigh the same an a tall "ectomorph"
According to the arguments Crouchy should be 14 stone !!!

Yes that is generally true but...Its more a question of density. Muscle is denser than fat. A room full of styrofoam may not weigh as much as a bowling ball.

sounds good in theory,
but you do get short fat people that weigh more than tall skinny people, so not always the case

sounds wrong.
ur weight is directly proportional to the amount of gravity in your environment. has nothing to do with your mass.
