No. Some teams choose to kick on third down late in the game or overtime so that if the snap is fumbled, they can still kick on fourth down. But once the kick is actually attempted, there is no option to try again no matter what down it was when you kicked.

It can be kicked again, only if it is blocked and the kicking team recovers the ball behind the line of scrimmage and the kick was made on 1st, 2nd or 3rd down.

no usually you kick the field goal on 4th down so if you miss its automaticly a turnover on downs but if you kick a field goal on another down and miss it is still a turn over on downs
