I was traveling with a friend once and he wrote this in his journal (about me). I understand cabin fever is like when you feel cooped up and have to get out. Did he mean I wasn't trying to get away from him and do my own thing enough?

Maybe he meant that he didn't think you would get tired of being inside, or feel cooped up. Perhaps he was comparing himself to you...and he felt the need to get out and do something, but you seemed content inside.

" would feel tied down"

or it could be (emphasis on "ever")

"doesn't need much adventure"
