anyone else want to try and get on the browns bandawagon so you can say you were a fan before it was cool? i can remember going to see the old browns squeelers games at the old stadium with my dad when i was a kid. remember that game where metcalf returned 2 kicks for touchdowns? that was a freakin awesome game. who thinks the browns can get to the afc championship game? vote here!

jay. they called the municipal stadium the mistake by the lake, not the town. and that stadium much like the browns old history of playoff losses is gone. we will see when they win the afc!

Browns have been bad over the last few years but we're still an amazing franchise. No one wants to play us this post season i guarantee that. We have proven that we can score on ANYONE at ANYTIME, and when it comes down to it we can grind the clock out to win it. Besides we're much better than our record shows and without a doubt we should have the division right now (no one can say we really lost to ari).
Wait and see people... this is a turn around year for the browns. We have the best fans, the best franchise and the best uniformes suckas. Only team left with any class... all you sissys named after zoo animals will soon feel our wrath.

Don't get too excited. There's a reason your town is called the Mistake by the Lake. The Brownies are having a good year, but it won't last. They can beat the bad teams, surprise a good team now and then, and cannot compete with the great teams. A beatdown is coming in the playoffs at the hands of the Colts or Pats (or maybe the Black and Gold).
And don't get your hopes up for next year, only Pittsburgh is consistently good in this division. They've made the playoffs 10 of the last 15 years (soon to be 11 of 16). How many times have the Browns made the playoffs in the last 16 years? And look at the Bungels and Ravens. Cinci thought they were gonna win the Super Bowl 2 years ago and have collapsed. The Ravens thought they could win it this year and they just lost to the Dolphins! So again, enjoy it while you can, because next year you'll have a toughter schedule, a lower draft pick, and the same old ugly uniforms and subpar franchise.
Edit: The "mistake" comment was just a friendly jab. You have to know that outside of Cleveland, that phrase is used to describe the whole city, regardless of its origin. Believe it or not, as a Steelers fan, I was one of those who where outraged when He Who Should Not Be Named snuck off with your team. I was so happy when the Brownies came back. But I still don't think you can win in the playoffs. The offense has been good, but the defense cannot win a championship.

I think the Browns have a great chance. I've been a Cleveland fan forever -- I remember the Kardiac Kids, Sipe and Kosar, the Ice Cube and Sam Rutigliano. I also remember the Fumble, the Drive, Redright88.... UGH! Go Browns!!!!

Well, we are still in first.
I'm not sure what I would like more though. For the Steelers to win out and beat the browns at home in the Playoffs, or for us to lose another game so we could go to Cleveland and beat the Browns again? That's a tough one.
I sense that this is the year of Cleveland playoff chokes!
And regardless, the Browns will always be ****.

I've always liked the Browns....but kind of as a novelty
though I hope they win the division since I like them more than the rest of the AFC North

they cant....Colts, Pats, Jax and Pittsburgh are waaayyy better.
