I opened my window and forgot to close it. It's only been open for an hour but it froze and I can't close it. Is there something I can do to close it?

You don't say what kind of window. If it is a wooden double hung, it may just be stuck. Take a 3 inch block of wood, place the smooth side against the window frame. This is to prevent damage and breaking the window. Tap the wood. Move it around the frame. This may break loose the sticking.
Pour a small amount of cooking oil at the top of the window where it meets the frame.
Try moving the window up. Use the block and tapping method.
