Shelby, they say they live "A Day" but you get one of the little blighters in the house- and It lives Forever,lol.

I really don't like them at all...I have had a lot of exposure to them on my trips to the US....and most of the time, I find them to be a nuisance. But that should not stop you from getting one as a pet if you want one!

They are good bait for Fly Fishing, but sometimes Maggots are better , depending on which type of Fish you are after

Err..no. I find them terribly annoying, and their bites are painful (horseflies). My mare will most likely tell you the same thing, lol.
