they were kids that were helping the adults without the adults knowledge fight the british during the american revolution. It was on once a week I belive on the weekend. I belive it was called the sons of liberty.

It was a 1970 series called "The Young Rebels" (set during the Revolutionary War) which ran for 15 episodes during the 1970-71 season.

Reruns aired in the Eighties on what is now ABC Family.
