If you live in the UK there are books there, see a coin dealer. Here in the states we have to us what is called Pick. It is the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money. There are 3 volumes, one has the paper money from the first notes to 1960, the other one has specialized notes and the third is from 1961 to present. The UK does a good job on books of it's coinage and paper money, but they are limited here in the states, maybe because the price values are in Pounds. The Standard Catalogs of World Paper money are available from www.brooklyngallery.com they sell coin and stamp supplies and discount them as well as the books they sell. Hope this helps.
