how much do you think is the average meal cost at resturaunts on the east coast? i am trying to plan a trip from Maine to Florida and am trying to get an approximate cost! PLEASE HELP!!!

I'd say plan for $10.00 per person average so 5 people $50.00 plus tax and tip! average $75.00.
now if that includes children maybe less! lets see 14 states well if you hit them all? i'd plan about $2000.00 dollars just meals, if you stop at grocery store on way to do lunches and snack may save you say $250..00 off resturant food!

I'd say have about $400 on you. Meals aren't that expensive if you are eating fast food, but eating fine dining tends to get expensive, plus you'd have to take into account how long you'll be gone and how much and how many times you eat!

Well, figure you get something that is halfway decent, it would be about 10 dollars a plate.

look up the restraunts you are planning to eat at, call them in advance and ask for prices. then figure it out that way.
