My cellphone is definitely not part of my life, there are times where I don't even know where I left it.
Although I am not a Christian I really liked what you said. This was an argument I had with those "church-Christians" over this weekend, you know, those who get their bibles out only for Sunday services and than try to convince me that they are better people than I will ever be.
Consider your questions copied and distributed among those "friends of mine".
Merry Christmas and all the best for 2008.

Cheri,
You make an awesome point. One that would win any debate. If we treated our Bible like we treat the cell phones our lives would have so much more meaning. I actually gave my Brother a Bible for Christmas this year. I did it because he got himself in a lot of trouble and we have lost so many close people this past year he was loosing faith. When he received it he called to thank me for the reminder that there is in fact Someone to put our faith in and we are not likely to be disappointed.
Have a blessed Christmas may God be with you and yours in the New Year.

thank you Cherie, those are true words, we do put more trust in our cellphone than we do in our Bible!
and to the people who gives us TD, we all are entitled to our own beliefs, you do not have to be so rude as to give us TD for it, respect others like you would like to be respected.
merry Christmas to all and have a wonderful 2008

Then we'd all be a bunch of sheep, living our lives based on mythology.
How about instead we all spend some time considering our fellow human beings, being conscientious. I don't need some jerk trying to read his bible while driving down the street just like I don't need him using his phone. What I do need it that person to be aware of the other vehicles and pedestrians on that road. The world would truly be a better place if that happened.

Hi Cheri, some idi@t has given all the answers above a TD! Only a non-believer or sicko is capable of this so, whilst we all hang on to our bibles please pray for him/her!
On a brighter note, I wish you and your family all the VERY best in health and happiness for Christmas & the New Year.
Stay safe, I,m counting down the time to seeing you soon!

Thanks Cherie for a "wake up call" ......my cellphone is never out of my sight and I cannot be without it. I am actually ashamed of myself now......it is going to be one of my New Years resolutions to be a better Christian and to read my Bible more.
