it depends on you totally...you are never compelled to help the people in need, but its good that you do. think about the day when every single person would face the judgement for every single thing he did. won't you like to be on the safe side?

Last year, I tried my darnest to 'adopt' a family in need this time of year. I could find no organization, but one. And they wanted me to travel to where they were located and hand them cash. I passed.

I don't blame you. I don't give cash, but I will donate clothing and household goods to Goodwill etc. You never know when your fortunes will turn, so I try keep that in mind.
