Condoms break, human error, and of course-nothing is 100% effective, other than not having sex at all.

People say condoms break but the real problem is people don't put the condom on right in the first place and what happens is it slips off during sex and without knowing the guy will ejaculate inside of the woman.

condoms are not 100% effective...it even says so on the box. there are manufacturing errors, sometimes girls tamper with them (poke holes), sometimes the condom could be out of date and the latex will have deteriorated slightly so as to have microscopic holes, sometimes the tear or pop off, sometimes a girl thinks the guy is using a condom but he has slipped it off hoping she won't notice, sometimes the condom is too small and the semen can sort of "sneak out" and sometimes the sperm are just so determined they squeeze themselves through the pores that are in the condom naturally and a perfectly good condom put on perfectly still does no good b/c of the "little sperm that could"

May be bad batch that leaks through, or some semen pushed to the groin in the heat of excitement and was pulled in by female cervical mucus; or broken condom; or just because condoms are 96% effective as per label.

Nothing is 100%; condoms break, birth control doesn't always work, etc. Not having sex is the only 100% way not to get pregnant.

Condoms are only 78% effective anyways, they only say they are 99% effective because they are when tested in a lab, but in the real world they break and get holes and people don't use them properly.

Condom has to be put before any penetration. Some put it after a while. Condom has to be put in a certain manner to avoid being pierced. Some are not as careful. And of course, there can be defects as there can be with anything else ;)

It is because some doctors say that the condoms have no garantee, so if you really don't want to be pregnant, than don't have sex.
And also condoms break.
