I have science homework and I have to say that when plants make their own food it causes photosynthesis. But I read it to my teacher and she said that I hanve to say that a different way.

Photosynthesis is more of the process where plants take up energy from the sun in the form of light to do the process of respiration, etc.

the process by which plants prepare food is called photosynthesis.plants use carbondioxide n oxygen from the atmosphere and they also use chlorophyll and moisture which is present in the leaves(they rrecieve moisture from the environment).therefore photosynthesis is a chemical process.
