of giving them highlights on things that happened this year or just talking about our christmas plans. But I'm not sure what to say. Does anybody have any ideas for what I could say?? Thanks!

Thanks for your ideas.

It's still just hard for me to come up with things to say to them because my parents are divorced and I'm typing this letter to send to my dad's parents...I don't live with my dad and well his mom is a bit of a gossip queen, back stabber...and yes she is my grandma but I still don't want to tell her everything..or much of anything. I can't just let my words flow. I have to be careful the way I word things or she might start a rumor or make something minor seem like a big problem. She is a pain.

My mom likes me to write letters to my grandparents too. They love to hear about anything going on in your life so I would definitely write about what has happened this year. Explain how school is going, if youre doing any activities, sports or anything. Then explain what youre Christmas plans are, that's a good idea, and even if you have general plans for the next couple of months. Just fill them in and they'll love it!

SantaBab is right. Grandparents just want to hear from their grandkids, even if its just little details of what is going on in their lives. The things you have mentioned (what happened this year and your Christmas plans) are fine.

There is plenty you can tell them..what's going on your end..how you are doing/what you are doing/things you want to do/things that have happened..
And then ask how they are doing/what they are up to..

Whatever you say i know your grandparents will be thrilled to hear from you.

Just be natural..let your thoughts and ideas flow..they'll love it..

Lets go big, Thank them for being a couple directly
responsible for your existence and it will impact them more
