Well, this is somewhat relevant.
When I bid a lawn price, or a landscape job, I ALWAYS bid it well over what it should be.
If the customer accepts, fine. If they don't, I wiggle my price DOWN.
Now, for the REAL story.
If I overbid the job, and did it for what it SHOULD cost, I apologize to the customer and rebate them the overcharge. Why? Because I've just proven my honesty AND made a loyal friend!
