No,I'd probably give you a -2 or something, but hey even if she does shout at you,you should tell her..'
'I'm not shouting at you,so you shouldn't shout at me''
or
''I didn't understand a word you said 'cause you were shouting''

always have that energy in you when someone miss treats you, even if it was the principle her/himself!!

Edit-No,if she happens to give you a detention you tell her..I will not get that detention just because I didn't get my homework right, your job is to correct my mistakes, and by you shouting and giving me a detention wont do me any good!!

No. I would ask you if you understand it and if you're doing the best you can do. Not everyone can grasp it. I used to do it for people in school because I thought it was fun and easy. But other people didn't get it. No teacher should shout unless they really need to get the attention of mis-behaving students.

^ Canings?! That is illegal where I live. Anyway, as long as you tried and learn from your mistakes (how to correctly do the problems), then there is no reason for anyone to shout at you. Getting the right answer is not important, but learning how to solve the problem correctly is most important. Don't be afraid to ask for help and don't get discouraged if you don't always get everything right.

No, thats not how you teach kids. First of all I'm surprised you're taking Algebra at 12 years of age, here in the US at that age they're still taking basic arithmetic hahahaha.
So actually I'd be impressed that you even tried the problems.

EDIT: hey my birthday is in March too! When exactly is your?

Of course not. But I'm not crazy either. Sounds like your teacher is afraid someone is going to realize he can't teach you. The next time he does that, walk out and call your parents. If you aren't getting algebra it's his fault. And he's afraid of getting caught at being incompetent.

Teachers shouldn't be 'shouting' at any pupil. if you tried the work and have struggled you may need extra tuition on the subject, if it wrong explain that you haven't understood it because it just keeps coming back and will be in tests. Good Luck! =)

No but If I would recommend a tutor if you kept getting all of your algebra questions wrong or I would refer you to a lower level class but I wouldn't yell at you as long as you tried hard which seems you did try.

If you were doing your best, the teacher should not yell at you.

As I remember, you needed to grasp several critical concepts in most math courses. If you did, most of the course fell into place, and I got a an 'A'. If not, I had to settle for a 'C.'

My daughters math teacher used to say if the homework was done wrongly it was his fault for not explaining it clearly enough. This approach made my daughter try really hard. So as far as I am concerned if you have done your best then he can ask for no more.

I wouldn't shout at you for doing it and getting it wrong, unless I knew you could do better. Even then, I probably wouldn't shout at you.

If you hadn't bothered at all, then I would release the hounds.
