For every cool superhero, there are probably a thousand pointless ones... Static Electricity Man, for instance, who can make his hair stand on end... Koala Girl who, at the first sign of danger, climbs up a tree and eats eucalyptus leaves until she falls asleep for 14 hours... there must be some seriously uncool not-so-superheroes out there... but who are they? I'm sure you people can tell me all about them! Go for it!

Oh yeah... don't forget most superheroes (and their useless counterparts) have alter egos, fancy costumes and unforgettable catchphrases...

I call myself the Disaster Diva.

Everything I try and do turns in to a farce, everything I touch turns to chaos, and if I am present at some great event, you can bet disaster will follow.

My catch phrase is: Oops. Sorry.

My costume is tight leather trousers, that split when I bend over, a crop top that is too small, and slippers.

My alter ego is a beautifully stunning woman who can drop a man at 10 paces. She lights up a room with her confidence and she can wear high-heeled shoes without tripping.

xx

Captain Cornelius - a superhero devised by the Illinois Department of Agriculture. His power is in his ability to walk and talk as a little-larger-than-human sized ear of corn, and he brings the good news to children about the benefits of corn-based product alternatives. He might be able to fly, but that's just for show, there's no real purpose in flying for him.

When I was in Kindergarten, we had Zero the Hero. Every day in class, the teacher would write a new number on a banner that went across the classroom, starting with 1 on the first day of class. Every 10 days, the number was accompanied with a picture of "Zero the Hero."
On day 100, we got a visit from Zero the Hero -- it was our school's janitor dressed up in some felt costume. Like Captain Cornelius, his job was to spread the good gospel about the number 0.

It would have to be Opossum-Man, During the day he's a Special Forces operative, but at night his nocturnal opossum side takes over and her goes out in search of evil doers. He cavorts through town with his prehensile tail neatly tucked into his marsupial pouch and when he confronts the evil doers he plays dead until they go away!
