Give them each a personal gift book. Take small pieces of paper and write various things that you will do for them on individual sheets ... i.e. manicure for sister, foot massage for Mom, clean garage for Dad. Other suggestions: do dishes without complaining, baby sit younger siblings, rake leaves, weed flower garden, cook a meal, clean sister's room, etc.

Make them things that you know each would like for you to do but not something you would usually want to do, or enjoy doing. Make it personal and age appropriate. Staple pages together. Make cover that says something like "Mom's Gift Certificates". You could do something real cute on the computer.

Be sure that when they cash in their gift certificates, you do the chore well, do it with a smile and do it without being nagged. I guarantee they will remember this gift longer than they will another necktie, box of candy or book.

I'm not sure how old you are, but could you cook them all dinner once a week for a month, wash the 'rents cars, do your sister's chores or clean her room. If it's a little sister, you could make her 10 coupons good for playing one board game or bike ride or something with her (without complaining while you are doing it). Or teach her to do something you know how to do and she doesn't. How old is your sister? I'm trying to give you ideas that don't cost $$.
