Because we are trying to have a baby, I keep thinking: This is it -or is it?

All I would like to know if it is normal to have heavy discharge after a period as well as before?

My period lasted only 2 days, but straight after, I started having discharge and now and again, it is very heavy and lumpy, without smell!

Please excuse me being so explicit, but I do not know of another way to describe it.

I used to have a 7 day period, but after a small operation to remove too much oestrigen, I amazingly went down to 4 days, but my last 2 periods have been just 2 days!

I have also gone up a bra size and they are very sore.

This, to my mind is the first time I have experienced a discharge after my period!

I did take a pregnancy test, but with bizare results - the test showed clearly on the pregnancy side, but to show if it worked, nothing showed!

I am going to see my doctor. The reason I have been asking these questions is because I am living in France, so have to pay to see the doctor.

Sorry, just to add, we have been married 16 years and my husband was told 15 year`s ago that he had 0 sperm, which certainly appeared true because I am fertile; we all ways have had unpretected lovemaking, and I have never become pregnant. I have had to get used to never being a mother, but now these strange things are happening and I keep wondering if I am just wishing for it to be true.

Is it normal for your period to only be 2 days?? With both of my pregnancies I had alot of heavy discharge during the early days. I believe this is due to your cervix building the mucuos plug to seal the womb from infection. This was what gave me a clue I was pregnant the second time around.

If it is just this cycle, and a 2 day period is unusual for you, then I would definetely do a test - just to be sure. However, if it is a regular occurence and you are worried, then see your GP.
