Good Governor. One of the Senators is very effective. The other one is a jerk who should be thrown out of office.

Our governor, Janet Napolitano is doing a pretty good job, considering the problems Arizona has. Our senators, Jon
Kyl and John McCain are another story. McCain is running for president, so he's currently useless. You can't actually do anything when you are running. Kyl just got the number 2 post in the Senate, so he's on the up swing in power. The question is, is he going to be helping Arizona, or just himself. That has yet to be determined.

In Illinois we have Barack Obama and Dick Durbin as our senators, and Dick Durbin has been effective, but it's too early to tell with Barack Obama, especially since he's the frontrunner for the presidential campaign. Our governor is Rod Blagojevich, and I think he's been effective, though he's been clobbered with allegations of unfair / illegal government contracting practicies and hiring scandals left and right.

Our next Gov will be in ofc in Jan--hopefully he will be better than our last!!!!
