It's sounds like he is eating too much. This gives him a sore tummy and the indigestion makes him vomit. The vomit will be predominantly formula as it comes up more easily than solids. The pain and vomiting aren't pleasant - and he wants to feel better - so he eats again, as eating feels good! Work out how much he should be eating and limit his intake to that amount. If he seems hungry after a meal, try distracting him and give him something else to put in his mouth (eg dummy/pacifier or teething ring). You could also offer him a bottle, then wait an hour before feeding him solids. The formula is the most important part of his diet and it doesn't matter if he doesn't eat solids at all. Alternatively, try regularly offering him smaller amounts of formula/solids. Another suggestion: when did you start him on solids? Did the spitting up start when he started solids? What solids is he eating? He may be reacting to one or more of the foods you are giving him. A baby can be allergic or intolerant to any food. My 16 month old daughter is intolerant to peaches, apricots and blueberries and my friends' son has a serious allergy to celery! However, common allergens are dairy, soy, egg, wheat, strawberries, nuts and seeds and shellfish.

Take her to hospital. It might be gastroenrilitis (sorry for the spelling!) It is caused by bacteria associated with milk formula when things like baby bottles aren't cleaned properly ( not that im suggesting your not hygenic or anything! ) Has anyone looked after her and fed her while you weren't there? Thats how most babies get it - by people who are not used to caring duties such as babysitters.

I suggest you should take her to the hospital immediatly. She could get dehydrated because of the diahorrea so boil some water, let it cool completely and then feed it to her to keep her hydrated.

I hope she's ok!

Water I know it sound simple. Also for any rash prevention and cure use Vaseline it is cheap and it works put it on thick . give small amounts of fluid at a time so there is less in the stomach. If the baby get unresponsive or not wanting to play take to doctor as soon as possible.

Call Your Doctor Now If:

Age < 12 months old who has vomited clear fluids 3 or more times and also has watery diarrhea.

That is from Children's hospital site. I use it often. You need to call her Pediatrician now. Make sure you let them know all the symptoms, how long they been going on and how much pedialyte you have been giving her.

I'm just wondering if your daughter is teething right now? I found that when my daughter started teething she would get the diarrah, plus I also need to ask what type of forumla is she on....To be safe take her to the doctors to have her checked out sometimes there are little grems that can upset their tummies....
She also changing when if come to the foods that she eats, so remember to take your time and watch for any reactions to her food.

Calling her Pediatrician, she might need to be seen, you don't want her to dehydrate. Glad the fever is gone.
