The Clinton's have always tried to destroy their opponents with ruthless aggression, yet ironically, they can't even retaliate against Obama's criticisms of them, much less go after him. I believe that Obama will win the Democrats Nomination. Good for him. As for the Clinton's, it seems to be a monster of their creation.

I don't think it's very ironic at all. Hillary Clinton, though very popular with many Democrats, has the biggest "no way in hell" factor for a politician I've ever seen. There are so many people, even some Democrats I know, that say they will NEVER vote for her even if they don't like the Republican contender. She doesn't have a lot of "independents" to court. You either love her or hate her and I think this very clear division is starting to show in the polls.

I think there is an undercurrent of disdain for Hillary Clinton. Too many people don't believe she's the 'man' for the job. She's just another typical politician, bought and paid for by the corporate elite...and I personally see that as something that disgusts most voters today. Whether enough voters will be disgusted enough to go to the polls and change the status quo remains to be seen.
Barack Obama, Mike Gravel and Ron Paul all bring fresh innovation, new vision and less political baggage to the campaign. A lot can happen in a year. -RKO- 12/16/07

I'd personally rather see Obama in the White House than Hillary, but I wouldn't bet the ranch on him getting the nomination. If I'm proven wrong, great, because as far as I'm concerned the last thing we need is someone who was "duped" into voting for the war in Iraq and the Patriot act. (Even if I know that neither Republicans nor Democrats will like me for saying that.)

Its irrelevant. Neither Hillary or Obama will win the Presidency as America is not yet ready for a woman or black President.

Both are heads above anything my Republican party has to offer. Obama got a boost from Oprah - but will that transfer to votes? Wait and watch.
