I can, in ALL honesty... may God STRIKE me down if I'm lying... say that I have never, in all my born-days, EVER wondered HOW many people are killed each year by falling coconuts!

hmmmm... what was that? Did I just hear thunder????

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

No. I have, however, often wondered if falling coconuts or similar cause people to ask some of the questions they do on Yahoo.

I have definitely pondered that. A falling coconut on a beach in Venezuela came within about six inches of braining me. It crashed onto the table in front of me and I'm pretty sure it had the potential to shatter somebody's skull. (not a joke)

My god...the humanity. Personally if I died that way I would have my family lie about my death. No coconut is taking me out. If only people would raise awarenss for this atrosity that takes up to no lives every year. Also, that has to be a high up coconut.

Yeah. It's actually becoming a serious problem (Bushie is trying to pass a law banning all coconut trees, but we all know him--he never does anythign he says), but people actually have a hard time resisting coconut filled paradise.

Not until you mentioned it. I imagine it numbers in the millions, though. Have you ever wondered how many people would be killed each year if bowling balls grew on trees? Makes me shudder just to think about it...

There is a statistic that you are more likely to die from coconut falling on your head than being struck by lightning.

YES I Have. When I went to Hawaii, they had signs under coconut groves that said
Danger!
BEWARE OF FALLING COCONUTS.
