I have a lot of State quarters (which are in circulation now, with a state featured on them). I could cash them into a bank, but I want to know if they will be worth something if/after the mint stops making them.

Before those quarters are worth anything, you will be long gone from this world. The trick of coins or even stamps to be worth anything is when (1) few are made and/or (2) there are errors on them. Those state quarters may be worth a few dollars when you have great grandkids. But they are fun to collect anyway.

Is it worth my while to save those state quarters? Will they ever be worth anything?

I don't collect them and I don't think they will be worth more than .25 cents a piece. Maybe hundreds of years from now it might be worth something but surely not in our lifetime.

They will always be worth 25 cents. Whether they will be worth more will depend on their condition, rarity, and demand for them after they are no longer minted.

Not as much probably as you could make cashing them in and investing the money.
Say you had 10,000 dollars worth and in 20 years they are worth 20,000 that wouldn't be a good return on your investment.
