I really try to keep everything in it's place cuz it makes my life easier that way-at the end of the day when i stick the dogs in the garden for their last wees and stuff i run round putting things away.

When there is a break between programmes on tv i go and do little jobs that need to be done.

But maybe that comes with age-dunno-it;s a sort of 'time and motion' thing that i have developed over the years.

If you leave the place to become a wreck then it does your head in.If you can keep your space looking ok and organised most of the time then you only have to do a big clean up every so often.
I guess it's all down to how you wanna live your life, really.

but... i do think it's better for your mental health to try and keep it together as much as poss...just my own thoughts, really.

Everything has a place. However, everything isn't always in its place.

The things that almost always are in their place are those things that would lose if I didn't make a point of always putting them there. For example my wallet, car keys, ID badge are always on the counter between my kitchen and living room. My glasses when I'm not wearing them are always on the arm of my couch.
Doing this prevents me from going on hunts every time I need to go somewhere or use one of these items.

Other things such as dirty clothes or empty pizza boxes have defined places but are just as likely to be strewn on the floor or somewhere else simply because I felt too lazy to put them up at the moment.

A place for everything and every thing in its place, well most of the time anyway, well for about a hour on a Thursday actually, after I've cleaned up and before the kids get home.

Everything has a place and a place for everything. The sitting room, has no clutter what so ever. The only room that is cluttered is my shop and a hooby room. Beds are made prompt, dirty clothes put away and nothing left out.

So, as related to entertainment and music, yeah, basically. My stupid vinyl 45s and LPs are sitting here slowly being dumped over the Net to fools who still want this stuff. I never put things just anywhere. I'm not 10 years old anymore so...

Yes, but when I get new things, it takes me forever to find a place for them! The cool part is when I want something, I know exactly where it is! I like being organized, it makes life easier.

My house is like a physical representation of my personality: At first glance, to the person who is just visiting, all appears ordered and neat, but delve beneath the surface and boy is it a muddle.

I am not a very organized person. I need to make huge improvements on this in my life. Everything is in the general area that it would belong, but just not organized.
