hi
Depends on what you'd like. My brother has the touch and I have the 160 classic. If you have a lot of videos or music, go for the classic. If you want internet, bigger screen, etc...go for the touch...the touch is really cool but doesn't have much storage, although you can always delete things and put new movies on them...The classic is already getting obsolete because of the touch.. I bet in a couple years the touch will come out with a larger storage and battery life. durability and battery life isn't much of a problem in either, as long as you take care of it reasonably

No, Ipod mini is smaller. Go to apple's website and look at pictures or google it. Classic holds more music though

No. Ipod minis can not hold as much as an ipod classic. I think only a 1,000 songs...not worth it.

No, the size is different..the classic has a larger screen to watch movies, the mini doesnt have an option of movies...also mini is older which means no color...classic has color (screen)

the mini is much larger, older, holds less, and uses flash memory. It is like the 2nd generation nano except much bigger and no colour screen. It holds less than 8gb.

assuming you are comparing it to the new classic,
the classic has an 80 or 160 gb hard drive, is thinner, has video capabilities, and is like the 3rd generation nano except bigger.
