He is accused of being a weirdo but he only teaches kids to swim because his own son drowned. After people in Hollyoaks turn against him he tries to kill himself. xx

well i read on imdb someone knows what happened coz they read it in a magazine, this is it:
His young son drowned and thats why he became a swim teacher for little kids.. The pics were on the computer because he was printing up swimming certificates..But thanks to Gilly and OB people got the wrong idea and go to his house shouting at him..His wife or ex-wife tells Max the truth about his son,they break into the house and find that he has tried to take his own life.

Well he aint a peado thats fro sure. Something has happened to his child. Max finds out this week and goes ballistic then the swimming instucter tries to commit suicide. Don't know if he dies or not. We'll just have to wait and see. I love Hollyoaks. LOL.

I think this may be a big storey line...... and i have a feeling that maybe Gilly was abused as a child and this is why he's very protective of Tom.
But i could be wrong.........

Well Gilly and Rhys broke inmto his house and found his laptop and there were pictures of tom on there and other children.
so i think he is a Paedo!!
