The first souvenir I thought of was my wonderful American Flag throw I bought inside the US Capital building. I was taking pictures with a group I'd been assigned to. So I thought let me take one more pic while we're in the one section where we started. I took it, click, and put the camera down to find my entire group GONE! I never did find a single solitary soul in the place whatsoever, so needless to say I didn't get to finish the doggone tour. It's really neat though. Another souvenir is a lanyard saying I'm White House Staff, and I have a mini backpack saying Air Force One Crew! How cool is that?? Merry Christmas....

Yeah, but its not from a place I visited, well I did go there once, but I didn't get a souvenir. My friend went to Big Bend National Park and brought me back a neon orange martini glass.

I have a glass that I got from Quark's Bar at the Star Trek Hilton in Las Vegas 2 years ago. Make it so...
I also have the foot that the doctor let me keep after an incident with an explosive device when I was in the Army. I treasure that one most of all. lol
My doctor's name was Major Burden, by the way. No kidding.

I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras in Feb. of 1999. I still have the beads I was walking around Bourbon Street with hanging on the wall in my room.

Yes, my son bought me a dark blue glass whale one year while on vacation with his dad and step-mom. I treasure it to this day! Very, very sentimental value. I would probably cry a river of tears if anything happened to it. He saved up allowance for six weeks to buy it just for his mom.
He could have spent it on junk, but thought of me and what a good mom he thinks I am. He is 18 now and bought it when he was 8 years old.

Yes.
Personal - I have my Dad's eagle necklace that he wore when he was in the military. I don't wear it as much as I did in my early adulthood when he first gave it to me but it means a lot despite this.
Place - To a much lesser regard, I like my lego statue of liberty I brought back from the Toys -R- Us in Times Square
