i ² = - 1
i ^(18) = ( i ² )^9 = (-1)^9 = - 1

i^18 = i^(16+2) = i^2 = -1, since i^4 = 1, and thus i^16 = (i^4)^4 = 1

hey its so simple concentrate here :-
i^18 = i^(16+2) = i^16 * i^2 = (i^4)^4 * (-1) = 1*(-1) = -1 ....
