my sister Karen, she sort of stole from the family when my mom died. she cleaned out the house when she told us she was getting rid of the stuff not worth keeping. i think she lost it, and taking mom's things was her way of keeping mom with her. but when we tried talking to her about it, she denied taking anything.....it is so sad, losing my mom cost me the loss of my sister, too.

Oh, that would be me, definitely. Call me the odd man out, so to speak, mostly because of what I see as petty differences. But I'm OK with all that now. The good thing is that I'm once again close to "one" family member after a long estrangement. Unbeknownst to either of us, a wedge had been driven between us by someone else. All those wasted years!

Me. I'm the weirdo, the somewhat outcast (except for my mom, who's mortgage I pay) the cousin/uncle who you always hear about but never see.

Everyone gets a little giddy when they hear I might show up.

I don't have any problems with the law, or anything, though.

So, I guess, rather than the 'black sheep,' I'm more of the 'beloved stranger.'

My older sister, she has a few illegitimate children, has been addicted to several different drugs, been in jail numerous times. Now she is on felony probation.

That would be me! I am completely different than most of my family members, and it's not such a bad thing.

My father. He blacksheeped himself out years ago. I check with the Navy every now and then to make sure he's still alive and collecting his pension...they'll know before I do.

Probably me. I'm not a criminal or anything, I just don't really fit in with my family.
