Sit still - think of relaxing your shoulders, massage the back of your head with thumbs - press the points in which you can feel the pain (don't exaggerate). After that roll your eyes (circular, back and forth) as strong as you can. Also massage and press: points on your brows near the root of the nose, your lecterns, ears, nape again, middle point on the chin. Relax your shoulders again.
Repeat which ever feels good to you until the headache stops. Your feeling is the best guide.

From the answers above... the pressure point thing and going to sleep have both worked for me before. But there are more fun ways to cure a headache. I remember reading in Men's Health magazine that playing videogames actually will cure a headache, because it keeps you thinking about something other than the headache, and it also releases the "feel good" chemicals in your brain that work the same way as a pain reliever. The other activity that was shown to have the same results was sex. If these results cross gender lines, I don't know, but it's worth a shot.

Chiropractors work wonders!!!! I had headaches for years that medicine could not help. I went to a chiropractor and after several visits have been pain free since!!! Only time I have a relapse is if I have lifted something heavy or not been adjusted in a long time. Best of luck.

Yes, there can be loads of reasons. Yes, generally the docs can't help with their pill ideology. I rely on chinese medicine and acupuncture from early teens and haven't had any headaches since

I have bad headaches, too. I go to acupuncture and it has helped. Drink lots of water. Tylenol makes me vomit and it will give anyone kidney/liver problems if you take too much over time.
