No one can stop a natural cycle. Earth's been around for 4.55 billion years. Humans are just a speck on her history.

I'd turn my thermostat down and drive less. Shut lights out when I leave a room and don't run water like it's aways going to be plentiful. It may only be a small thing but at least it's something. Besides, it was done in the 70's and fuel prices went down as people's understanding went up just a bit.

..earth has had 'ice-ages' infrequently in it's life time ...
...this one is the only environment known to humanity..
...normally, there is no ice ... even on the poles..
....we as an inhabitant of earth, flatter ourselves thinking we can alter earths cosmic rhythms..
... what ought concern us is whether or not we are going to be adaptive enough to adjust to her changes - rather than assuming we can affect them to our convenience.
